Rhonda Shakir- Ferguson is one of seven siblings born in Chicago Illinois. For several years she interned as a social worker and with Americorp for Juvenile Court as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) through the family Exchange center and other social services. She uses social change, and seeking ways to assist the underprivileged and marginalized. While she trained, she earned a Masters in Behavior Science Degree in Human Services. She has also written two children’s books “My Lost Shoe”and“Say a Little Prayer for Me” advocating safety for children.
